NDIS Information

Using NDIS to Purchase our Ready for Range

Please be aware that you can only utilise NDIS funding on our "Ready For" occupational therapy based home programs.

Our Regulated and Ready Program has been developed by occupational therapist’s with a focus on empowering both children and their support people. We know that children need repeated opportunities to develop and learn new skills. The Ready for Yoga program has been designed for children and young adults to complete with their support people as a therapeutic tool for skill building within their home environment or as an additional complementary resource alongside the current therapies they may be accessing. Our program is goal-drive, providing the education and strategies that help families and carers and support people to implement effective strategies in the home or child’s natural environment.

Depending on your NDIS plan and NDIS Goals, you can use Capacity building or Core budgets to purchase our therapeutic, occupational therapy-based programs.

How we Meet the Reasonable and Necessary Criteria

The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) defines reasonable and necessary criteria to ensure that supports and services funded for participants are effective, beneficial, and essential for their individual needs. Here’s how the Regulated and Ready Program’s meet each part of the reasonable and necessary criteria:

  1. Support must be related to the participant’s disability: Our program is designed specifically for children with disabilities and individual differences, offering tailored interventions that directly address their individual needs. Please refer to the goals information to ensure that the client’s NDIS goals align with the goals of the Regulated and Ready Program.
  2. Support must not include day-to-day living costs not related to disability support needs: The program focuses solely on therapeutic interventions and skill-building within the child’s environment, ensuring that funds are used directly for disability-related support rather than daily living expenses.
  3. Support must represent value for money: By providing comprehensive guides, visuals, and tools, our program offers significant value by empowering caregivers to implement effective interventions at home within the child’s environment. Our tools allow for repeated use of the program which allow the child to engage in repeated skill-building within their natural environments.
  4. Support must be effective and beneficial for the participant: The interventions and strategies provided in our facilitator guide are evidence-based and designed by experienced occupational therapists, ensuring they are effective in improving the child’s functional abilities and overall well-being.
  5. Support must take into account informal support given to the participant by families, carers, networks, and the community: Our program includes tools and resources that facilitate the involvement of caregivers and family members, enhancing the child’s support network and promoting a collaborative approach to therapy.
  6. Support must be best provided by the NDIS and not more appropriately funded or provided through other service systems: The Regulated and Ready Program’s are specialized for children with disabilities and additional needs and fits within the scope of NDIS funding, as it provides targeted therapeutic support that may not be covered by other systems.

By meeting these criteria, our program ensures that NDIS participants receive relevant, effective, and valuable support that enhances their development and quality of life. When using NDIS funds to purchase a program, please ensure that the participant goals align with the goals of the program. You will find the goals in the goals information section of each program. If you need support to determine if the participant's NDIS goals align with the goals of the program, please contact us.
